SOLIDARITY RESTAURANT AND CAFÉ

A new solidarity catering project signed by Chef Carlo Cracco in which gastronomic research, social inclusivity and education come together to support future generations.

THE PROJECT

TOG Bistrot is the new solidarity restaurant promoted by the Maestro Martino Association, chaired by Chef Carlo Cracco, and developed together with TOG Foundation.

The bistrot was created with the aim of combining quality gastronomic offerings with the promotion of social inclusivity and the education of future generations.  A place where innovation, art and culture come together to give guests a completely new culinary experience that is not only high quality but also inclusive and supportive.

A portion of the proceeds from all the bistrot’s activities is dedicated to supporting the initiatives of the TOG Foundation and the educational programs aimed at helping the youth of the TOG Center transition into the workforce through hospitality and fine dining.

THE MAESTRO
MARTINO ASSOCIATION

A promoter of the TOG Bistrot project, the Maestro Martino Association, of which Carlo Cracco is president and founder, is a cultural association established in 2011 to promote the future generations of Italian catering through education.

THE EDUCATIONAL MODEL OF MAESTRO MARTINO FOOD ACADEMY

TOG Bistrot is inspired by the educational model of the Maestro Martino Food Academy, which operates through two restaurants that serve an educational function and four production workshops.

The teaching restaurant is a real restaurant open to the public where students are involved in the active management of all operational functions supported by Maestro Martino Food Academy alumni and professionals, both dining and cooking.

TOG FOUNDATION

The TOGETHER TO GO Foundation (TOG) is a non-profit organization established at the end of 2011. Based in Milan, it has created a Center of Excellence with high-level specialization in the rehabilitation of children with complex neurological conditions, particularly Cerebral Palsy and Genetic Syndromes with intellectual disabilities. TOG serves as a support to public healthcare, as it is a private center born from philanthropic efforts, providing care completely free of charge.

On Oct. 21, 2023, the new TOG Carlo De Benedetti Center is inaugurated at Via Livigno 1, adjacent to TOG Bistrot: a place of more than 2,000 sq. m. that boasts within it neurology research and innovation laboratories, sensory laboratories using augmented reality, gyms and a swimming pool, an auditorium and lounge dedicated to conferences, training and exhibitions, cultural events and coworking spaces open to project partners.
